Born and raised in Chicago, my artistic journey began at an early age, painting on an old VTech Video Painter. Much hasn't changed, as I now have an iPad attached to my hip. My earliest art memories include coloring in Gary Gygax's Advanced Dungeons & Dragons coloring album, printed in 1979 and illustrated by Greg Irons, a tattoo artist I greatly admire.

During my high school years, my chemistry teacher brought in her husband's drawings to school. Her husband happened to be Jeff Laubenstein. Seeing his work for D&D, Shadowrun, and Magic: The Gathering inspired me to pursue art for the rest of my life. Immediately after high school, I had some wonderful mentors, such as Grigor Eftimov, who shared an immense amount of knowledge with me.

Currently, I work at ShowOff Ink Artistry in New Haven, CT. I'm also attending Hartford's historic illustration MFA program
